GOOD EVENING, Short Gun Shooters !

 

As you begin filling the blanks of your new Day-Timers, Planners and Blackberry calendars, mark Saturday, June 6, 2009, for this year's event.  Yes, it's a couple weeks later than we've had it in the past, but we'll avoid conflicts with activities in Phoenix as well as possibly get better local weather than we've experienced some times in the past.

 

Besides the terrific time we enjoy together, the result of our efforts will take on special significance this year.  Epic battles are brewing in every quarter that will require significant resources.  Fortunately, we'll have some help.  I attended the SHOT Show last week and received confirmation of support from all our current sponsors as well as pledges from several new ones.  Details will follow.

The Elmer Keith Memorial Shoot is not open to the public.  It is by invitation only.  If you have a friend you'd like to bring along, let me know about them and I'll extend an invitation.  Invitations along with details will be sent via e-mail about March 1.
