I saw that some time ago. Very interesting as how Elmer was on top of things, and involved, even when he did not want to be.

Seems like another example of how he was put here to show us the way , for as long as possible.
The man should have died at least a dozen times I know of.
God only knows how many close calls he had while ranching , guiding , and hunting , that he never mentioned in print.

Yea, Like getting drunk and falling over backwards, off a ledge 5 stories up, getting caught by the leg by Tom Kocis, and not even realizing it. There are other stories also, but have to be confirmed. This one is absolutly fact.
Another is when some poor soul tried to rob Elmer, and got shot in the foot for it. And when the Uni-bomber tried to blow Elmer up.
What a life. Like he said you can go though hell, and until it is your time, you will come through. Mad Elk,Wild Horses, blown up guns, wild rapids,big cigars,Chivas Regal,and Robbers. All have killed lesser men.
