Just picked up the 405 from the Blue'r Man, fitted the Lyman 21 sight after work. I love it when a plan comes together! Picked up the Rifle and the plaque parts after work, both done when they said! (PS the little brass indicator really is nice and shiney, don't know why it looks all scrached up in the photo. )
By the serial # this gun was produced in 1937. I believe it was a basket case when Ace got it, he made and fitted and finished the furniture before I liberated it from his safe!

Hi Al
I finaly found the rest of the ammo, some Old Western Scrounger and some Win or Federal, over 20 rounds.
That thing kicks with full power loads.

Hi Al,
Very graceful looking rifle. I love that dark straight grain wood.
Take Care,
Chris

The key is start with the Rum and Cokes, that seems to loosen up the tumblers a bit...
