Started looking for a Hornet, most any type, about four months ago.
 Walked in to the WAC show yesterday (Washington Arms Collecters) and second row over there it was Contender 21 inch barrel with scope mounts.
Now it is stock carving time 'cause I only have pistol grip for mine.

I have reloading brass, bullets, dies if you need to borrow.

got 700 rounds of new ammo so won't need to reload for a while.
when I get to burn some of this stuff then will try some different loads.

What kind of ammo? Factory ammo is going for around a buck a bullet, how did you end up with 700 rounds?

Short story, a friend asked if I wanted some hornet brass and I thought he ment EMPTY brass. Nope, 700 rounds GI new old stock. I just had to get something to shoot it with.
