| 04/15/10 at 09:52 AM HI: Not sure if this will be interesting or not but here goes. I quit shooting my Rem. 700 in 375 H&H a while back when my physical condition got the better of me and concentrated on my smaller, more managable guns, mostly handguns and 22's for plinking. I paid more attention to my handguns and left the long guns alone. I sure missed my rifles and happened to read an article by John Taffin where he described a new stock that reduced recoil dramatically. The Knoxx stock was supposed to reduce recoil by half! Bold claim. I was so intrigued I ordered one for my 700. I installed it and waited for a decent spring day to test it, and today was the day. To say it worked is an under statement. I shot in 78* weather in a tee-shirt and was amazed. The stock actually collapses as the gun recoils and a heavy spring absorbs the shock. I felt as if I had just shot a mild 30-30 load. The stock is very nice looking as it is a Hogue rubber over molded and the recoil system looks like a slip-on recoil pad from the outside. Whatever is inside sure works and I am pleased as punch. I can now shoot my favorite rifle again, within reason, and enjoy it without pain. Chris
