Elmers load was 14 grains of 2400, with a remington primer, behind his bullet. This should be sized 1 to 2 thousanths larger than cylinder mouth diameter, so it alignes with the barrel perfectly. Use a good bullet lube, with graphite in it, and enjoy. I found the 173 grain bullet very accurate, and deadly. Have fun. __________________ God Bless Elmer, He showed us the way. It is up to us to carry on. Chivas Regal for everyone, and powder smoke in your lungs. |
