Hello to everyone from CherokeeMike. I've been a big fan of Elmer Keith for a long time. I enjoy reading his books, stories and loading information. My biggest regret is not writing him a letter years ago and receiving a personal response. That would be something to treasure!
My favorite all-around cartridge is the .44 Magnum. I have the following firearms in this caliber:
- Model 29 Smith & Wesson (Yes, I bought it in the
late 1970's after watching Dirty Harry 
- Ruger Redhawk.
- T/C Contender Pistol.
- T/C Encore Rifle.
- Desert Eagle.
- Early Winchester Model 94.
- Ruger Deerstalker.
- Ruger 44/77 Bolt action.
- Ruger No. 3.
- Universal Vulcan Model 440 Pump.
- Remington Model 788.
- Marlin Model 336.
