No problem. Glad to help. I got this from another forum, and the links all are terrible, so don't use them. I did not put them there, and did not think after going through my Word program that they would work. Sorry for that. But the info is fantastic. Had an Elmer moment tonite, when I came home from shopping with my wife. I was carrying in groceries, when a group of coyotes began shrieking, barking and screaming in high pitched howls, about 15 yard from me in the woods by my house. I think I was about to be the guest of honor at dinner tonite. I raced to the house, as all I had on was a 32 auto o/u derrringer, and grabbed the 629 Classic, with Elmers 250 grainers in 44 special casings. When I went back out, I could see the eyes of one glowing in the light from my porch light, just inside the woods line. I put the McGivern gold bead between his eyes and shot. The eyes disappeared. I shot 3 more times into the ground just below the woods line, and you should have heard the ruckus of the rest of them running for everything they had, down through the thick underbush. I think they were more after my dogs, than me, but when I heard the sound of the pack of them shreiking like that, the hair went up on my neck, and the only thing I could think of is, this 32 is not enough, I need the 44. That was the excitement for this evening. I will go down and look at the carcass in the morning. __________________ God Bless Elmer, He showed us the way. It is up to us to carry on. Chivas Regal for everyone, and powder smoke in your lungs. |
