I stumbled onto this site by doing a "Elmer Keith" search on 'Ask.com'. Looks to be like a great site. Been an Elmer fan since 1972. I carry a Ruger 'old style' Blackhawk in .41 mag., with a 5 1/2" barrel, and Pachmyer grips. Had the gun since 1973 and she still shoots great. I have a hardcover copy of Elmer's ORIGINAL autobiography, titled "Keith, an Autobiography". Copyright 1972 I think. Pretty fair shape considering I've read it about 20 times, plus loaned it out to a couple of friends over the years. I also have copies of "Sixguns", "Shotguns", "Sixgun Cartridges and Loads", and "Gun Notes - volume 1". Anyway, great to be here and I hope to visit often.
