attended a estate auction in Minnesota not long ago. people were referring to the large box of books as 'Outdated and smelly'.  well call me stinky, being the cheap high bid, it contained elmer's revised "SIXGUNS".  as i was leaving a fellow bidder ask if i was interested in a cheap box of modern books. a five dollar exchange took place, digging deep at the bottom was a "new" book that made me smile.." SKEETER, HOGLEGS,HIPSHOTS&JALAPENOS".  if i'm lyin i'm dyin. i was truly two-steppin with lady luck.

Lady luck was smiling on you for sure. I'll have to look up that Skeeter book, don't recall ever seeing that one.
Thanks for the post--
Al

$5.00 !!!!!!!  What a find !!!!    Congratulations !   I had almost the same luck when I bought my local libraries copy of "Hell, I Was there" for $15.00.  Its binding was cracked but I fixed it per thier instructions and you'd never know it was broke, and no mildew ta-boot !

$5.00 for both books...Whoa !!!
