While crusing the net, spotted a photo I have been using on our site that I had found on the net a while back.
Anyway, the new photo gave credit to the photographer. I was able to look up the phone # of a man in WV by the same name, and called him last night. He has other Keith photos as well, and may be sending them to me in a day or two. He also asked that I give credit to him for the photo so I updated it.
Like to get him involved in the forum as well. Moral to the story, if you come across photos or names of Keith associates/ friends in your travels, let's do a little research. May pay off. (and thanks again 44 for the tip on inserting photos) __________________ “If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil — it’s cool.”

What ever it is, I'll bet its big. When I hear back I'll ask. I think Lynn is the same guy that has or had the hard cast bullet company in WV "Dry creek Bullet Works" Saw that mentioned on another forum old date website no longer active. __________________ “If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil — it’s cool.”

Just throwing this out there, not being any kind of an expert, could it be a Wickliffe? I'm having a hard time seeing it very well in this photo, but I'd heard somewhere he was fond of them. __________________ “If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil — it’s cool.”

Actually, if I paid more attention (sorry, can't, I'm broke) I would have read: "Elmer Keith Feb 1978, a 338x74 rifle and his ever present sixgun." True. Rifle is a Farquharson built by friend Iver Henriksen of Missoula. __________________ God Bless,
