Sent emails off to S&W, DMPS, Guntalk, Taffin, (six-guns.com) and Sharp Shooting asking if they could put a link to the forum. (Ed's Idea) Guntalk sent me back a form letter so far, maybe have some better luck with the others.
PS do you have a site,Gunsmith?

Update: Got a response from John Taffin RE: sixguns.com:

"Al I don't have a site. The one you refer to was started by a friend years ago and then sold. BUT you may link to it if you like. GOOD SHOOTIN' AND GOD BLESS, JOHN"

Anyway, maybe tracked down administrative contact for sixguns.com, (2006 update) Sent him an email. We'll see.

no, I had a website, but the ATF said I needed a manufacturing licence to talk about the rifles I WANTED to build. Never made any, just fished. Maybe someday.
This manufacturing thing is way out of hand. They are trying to stop the people that are making AKs out of parts kits, and selling them, but hurting the little guy trying to make a single shot rifle. Enough about my problems.
I am trying to get Ted Keith's e-mail, but AOL deleted my saved e-mails and I don't have the one when he contacted me about using his fathers name for the company.
I contacted Cabelas, about linking with the forum, and am waiting for an answer.
John Taffin, It is a pleasure to correspond with you. You helped to.in my wifes opinion, ruin my life,(ha ha). Between you, Elmer, Mike Venturino, and Skeeter Skelton, I am pretty much fried. I became a full time gunsmith because of you guys.

Oh the ELMER sign is on the bottom of the forum page. That will let anyone in. I do not think we need that.

Hi, Al:

Sure, we'll put a link to  http://www.elmerkeithshoot.org  on the Gun Talk web sites.

Would  you be so kind as to return the favor and add www.guntalk.com and www.guntalk.tv to your links?

If you haven't seen the videos at www.guntalk.tv, you ought to take a look!

Best,

Tom Gresham

Re: site
Be honored to set you up in a little corner of our domain! Send me photos/ discriptions of some of your projects.
Re: Password
Good point, but you can't post, only read with the board password. Thought it might get us some "guest" views, lets visitors take a peek before they go through the vetting process. I monitor site frequently, if I see a problem I'll drop it. Also made it unreadable to bots/ crawlers. What do you think?
