No, unfortunately, I don't ever remember reading about his heroic rescues in any paper or history lesson in school. We were to busy learning about civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King JR, and that the slain U.S. President John F. Kennedy had a poor younger brother named Ted Kennedy that was in a bad accident that killed his secretary by driving his car over a bridge and leaving her under water not trying to save her, & not even reporting the accident. |
