Did a bunch of Elmer Keith fans  get new computers for Christmas and learn about the internet?

Must be that time of year.  Cold, snowy, windy, all the brass is loaded or at least tumbled, sized, and primed.  Too cold to cast bullets in the garage so time to look on the internet.

Did go out for coyotes this morning.  A friend's horse died last week so now have a coyote food plot.  For a few more days anyway.  It's about gone already.  I don't think it's been a whole week yet and there's not much left.  Thought for sure that it would have lasted much longer, especially with it being so cold and froze solid.

Info on this site was posted on Lee Martin's www.singleactions.com a couple of days ago. That accounts for the influx. I recognize most of the new members as regulars on that board.
My own E.K. enthusiasm goes back to about 1959, when I bought my first issue of a gun magazine with his column. I finally met him at the NRA convention in Cincinnati in 1977, along with Bill Jordan and Col. Charles Askins.
Last year, I flew 6,000 miles round trip to visit a friend in Boise and visit the Elmer Keith Museum in Cabela's with him. The visit was worth the trip.

I had a cow get down on new years eve , and had to shoot her on the 1st.
So I'm going to start do what you been doing in the morning.
I had to work the last two days , so I'd say they are on her by now.

At least I got to try my pocket gun on something with a pulse.
little  S&W 340 M&P sent her to the big pasture in the sky.
One 358-429 and 5 grn of unique in 38 cases ,made her stretch out and quiver.
After I was sure she wasn't feeling any pain I put the other four in her and will see what they look like in a couple days .
