I really enjoy hunting boar have used handguns in 357, 41, 44, 45 Colt, 454 and 460 and rifle in 270. One of my favorite loads is Winchesters factory 454
ammo using the 260gr partition bullet. As long as I put the bullet in the right place its never failed to put them down. What`s your favorite gun/load combination for hunting wild boar??

James I am with you feral pigs are a blast. I have shot a fair number down in South Carolina while on deer stands. I use what ever I am shooting deer with 270 or 300 Jarrett. I did miss one with my .510 Reeder. Usually they are not in handgun range and it is so thick you cannot stock them.

Where are you hunting them it looks cold?

That last light colored boar sure has a pretty hide.  I love to see different colored ones, like tans & multi colors.
