Hello Sir,  Funny,  I can remember back in the early to mid-70's when Tom Siatos and Jack lott announced their .460 G&A in Guns & Ammo.  I was young but intrigued. Always liked big bores.  A few years ago I had a very nice Ruger No. 1 in .458 Win Mag that I sent off to Champlin Firearms in Enid OK and had their resident gunsmith J.J. Peradou--spelling might be wrong but not out of disrespect, re chambered it for Jack Lotts .458 Lott. This was before Ruger offered it as a standard chambering. It was a fantastically accurate rifle making 3 shot clover leaf groups off sandbags at 50 yards with open sights, (when I did my part & thought of something pleasant just before I pulled the trigger),  like FUZZY PLAYFUL PUPPIES !   When I bought my present,  I needed several hundred dollars that I didn't have at the time and I sold off the rifle for what I needed.  I'm very thankful I have this house,  and also that I had a very nice gun to help get the house with !  Any way, I did use it to take a few close up ground hogs..."10" if I remember correctly.  I'm waiting for the day Ruger comes out with their No. 1 in .500 Nitro.  Then I'll be happy.  sure I'd like a .600 Nitro more or even a .700 Nitro. But the .500 is alittle more practical for PA deer & groundhogs.
So good luck luck with your .460 G&A !
