Greetings all,
This is my first time posting. I recently acquired a pristine 4" 29 after many years of looking. I don't have the $ for ivories like the grand ol man used so I thought I would get a set made from an elk I killed in co a few years ago. They will have a palm swell on the right side instead of a carving like his to fill the hand. I would also get them without any bark due to the recoil of the load. Does anyone have any experience with antler grips? Will they hold up ok?
